Subconscious Mind: Revealing The Three Secrets

Subconscious Mind: Revealing The Three Secrets

You probably know that a human brain generally operates in two ways – consciously and subconsciously. While the conscious brain takes care of our regular, day-to-day activities like eating food and driving a car, our subconscious mind takes control of our memories and emotions.

It’s hard to say what exactly our subconscious mind does by definition because, unlike our conscious mind, it acts behind the scenes. But there’s one thing for sure, it incredibly holds our actions and habits and mysteriously influences how we live our lives. In this blog, we are revealing some secrets:

The subconscious mind never sleeps

The reason why you soundlessly sleep at night without the fear of forgetting to breathe is your subconscious mind works day and night. From regulating the immune system and digestive system to body temperature and heartbeat, it takes care of everything altogether.

The subconscious mind is a memory bank

Do you remember taking your first step? Or the time when you said your first word? Certainly not, but your mind does. All of your memories – whatever you’ve seen, felt, or seen since you were born- are stored in your subconscious. This hub of memories ultimately influences your judgments about yourself and others, based on your experiences.

The subconscious mind doesn’t differentiate between visualizations and real situations

Has it ever happened to you that your heart rate increased while watching a scary movie even though you’re aware there is no apparent danger? That’s because your subconscious mind doesn’t know how to separate imagery situations from reality and assumes you’re face to face with danger, for real.

Similarly, when a person imagines himself being confident before giving a presentation or speaking in public, the subconscious mind believes that he has performed confidently, without making mistakes, in the past, and helps you do that again in real-time.

Although it works mysteriously, it’s possible to change subconscious beliefs using EMDR, EFT, and Hypnosis processes. When you want to change your old self, which is full of doubts and limitations, to new-self with new beliefs and confidence, get in touch with Susan Quinn right away.
